Celebrate 15 Years of MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo
Brookline, MA – A holiday-season fair unlike the others, MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo offers one-of-a-kind comics, graphic novels, and zines that you won’t find anywhere else. If there’s anyone on your gift list who loves alternative comics and art, MICE is the place for you.
For the show’s 15th anniversary we’re excited to move into the holiday season, with the keynote conversation on December 6th at 6pm and the main event taking place on December 7th and 8th, both at Boston University’s Fuller Building, 808 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston.
Since its founding in 2010, MICE has been New England’s biggest and longest-running independent comics festival, bringing together a vibrant community to celebrate creativity and self-expression. The event offers something for everyone, from panel discussions and workshops to a diverse marketplace featuring over 200 independent comic creators. MICE is proud to present a majority of creators based in New England, with 40% of all creators being from Massachusetts. Whether you're an aspiring artist or a seasoned creator, MICE is the place to explore the art form and engage with a community of like-minded individuals. Admission is free and open to all ages!
MICE’s family-friendly programming includes hands-on workshops for all skill levels, where beginners can dive into the world of comics, and experienced creators can refine their craft—whether that’s drawing faces, building fantasy worlds, or experimenting with new techniques. Panel discussions will cover timely and thought-provoking topics, such as comics and activism, memoir comics, and even comics about bugs!
